STOP! DO NOT PLACE THIS ORDER. You are NOT buying a complete reproducer, ONLY the diamond needle.
READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING so that you have an understanding of how this is to be done, then proceed:
S-101a New DIAMOND STYLUS (needle) installed in your crossbar in your Edison Diamond Disc Reproducer (see accompanying photo here of such reproducer). PLEASE NOTE: LIMIT 1. You must send your reproducer here* to have this done. The reproducer shown in the photo is NOT part of the sale, and I do not sell just the stylus.
(PLEASE NOTE ALSO: The shank stylus N-120 cannot be used in this Edison Diamond Disc reproducer.)
NOW PLEASE READ ALL THAT FOLLOWS:
- If your needle bar is missing, do NOT send for a new needle. I do NOT have extra needle bars (also called ‘cross bars’).
- If yours is the S-101a reproducer, then send the complete reproducer (or just the cross bar) to: John Nagy, Antique Phonograph Repairs, 8160 New Liberty Rd., WALCOTT, IA, 52773 USA.
- Do NOT PRE-PAY and do not SEND PAYMENT with the reproducer. When the reproducer arrives it is examined and determination is made as to what the reproducer needs. You will be notified by email and you will be quoted the full restoration cost (with the return shipping) for your approval.
- If you approve, you will be sent a PayPal invoice (including s/h) that is to be paid with your credit card.
- You will receive your restored reproducer with the new diamond stylus and new gaskets in less than two weeks.
- See store item S-102 if the CORD LINK between the stylus bar and the diaphragm is BROKEN or needs to be replaced.
