P-292-R Cylinder Record REAMER, to ream Edison Blue Amberol Cylinders that have the interior plaster swollen. To be used only on the Blue Amberol cylinder records. INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH THE REAMER. After inserting the reamer, make two or three complete turns with the reamer while holding the cylinder record. The second photo shows how far the cylinder record should be reamed to fit properly on the phonograph mandrel. Blow out the dust and clean the reamer with a bristle hand brush or an old toothbrush. Repeat as necessary until the cylinder SLIDES ONTO THE MANDREL AS FAR AS DESIRED. “Blow out” and “clean” after every reaming. The reamer is made from poplar wood and the wood colors may vary. An eye bolt is attached to the handle end for hanging convenience when not in use. The cylinder record shown in the photos is not included.
