N-119p PATHE Half-Tone Sapphire – Special  ONE PATHE BALL-TYPE NEEDLE ON A SHANK FOR PLAYING PATHE DISC “HILL-AND-DALE” RECORDS.  “The material used in this half-tone stylus to hold sapphire is chosen because it gives a peculiar soft tone.  This is the only material capable of producing this tone, but does not permit careless handling.” The needle is still wrapped in its original tiny sealed envelope and is in its original larger envelope.  The needle has never been taken out of the tiny envelope to look at it or test it. The “Sapphire” has been “CAREFULLY INSPECTED” (ORIGINALLY) and we cannot make exchanges (nor refunds, nor take returns).  This is the only such Pathe needle that is specially priced.
