H-126f Crane for FIRESIDE (or GEM) phonographs. NEW item. These cranes are NEW, consisting of two pieces. The short piece slips into the hole in the larger bent piece. The diameter of the longer bent rod is 1/4 inch. There is a chain that is attached to the end of the short piece. From the chain to the phonograph, the distance is about 22 inches. The short rod may be shortened (cut) according to individual special need.
NOTE: This crane can also be used in GEM phonographs. First try: Clean or drill the GEM horn hole to see if the crane will slide into the horn hole. Second try: Sand the bottom (1.5″) end of the rod that would slip into the horn hole. The idea is to thin the plating at the bottom end of the crane. It should then slide into the horn hole in the GEM phonograph.
